Chataway

The Chataway project is a complete bathroom renovation in Nanaimo, transforming the existing space from the ground up. Currently in progress, this project involves a full gut renovation to create a fresh, modern, and functional bathroom.

Before construction could begin, the project required professional asbestos removal and remediation, ensuring the affected materials were safely removed and the space was properly prepared for the renovation.

With the bathroom taken back to its underlying structure, the renovation includes rebuilding the space with updated materials, fixtures, finishes, and improved functionality. Starting with a completely stripped-back space also provides the opportunity to address what’s behind the walls before the new bathroom comes together.

From asbestos remediation and demolition through to reconstruction and finishing, each stage is being carefully managed to deliver a safe, durable, and completely updated bathroom.

These before and progress photos capture the Chataway bathroom during the early stages of its transformation. We’ll be sharing the completed space once the renovation is finished.
