Open Positions
Experienced Carpenters
Salary: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
- Experience: minimum of 3 years; experience in leading and training a team of workers is an advantage.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Language: English
- Specific Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials, Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems, Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, effective interpersonal skills, values and ethics, team player, client focus, accurate judgement, can work under minimal supervision.
- Work Setting: Residential, Commercial
- Major Work Area: Renovation, Construction, Maintenance and Repair
- Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel, with a valid driver's license (having own transportation is not required but can be an advantage).
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment where you may encounter tight deadlines.
Apprentice Carpenters
Salary: $20.00 - up per hour
- Experience: At least 1-year of work experience in any or all aspects of home renovation and other scopes of handyman or carpentry work.
- With a valid driver’s license in BC (having own transportation is not required but can be an advantage).
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment where you may encounter tight deadlines.
- Must be a great team player but can also work under minimal supervision.
- No criminal record
