Journeyman Carpenter

Position Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in carpentry, with a strong background in supervising teams and managing projects. Experience in residential, suites, additions, new construction, and commercial projects.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Red Seal certification is highly desirable.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, especially Buildertrend, is a significant plus.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong leadership in job site management and team supervision.
    • Advanced skills in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and sketches.
    • Adept in constructing foundations, installing beams, sub-flooring, walls, and roof systems, as well as windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
    • Ability to be creative with problem solving and think on your feet. 
  • Personal Attributes: We seek someone who is reliable, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, has a strong sense of ethics, works well in a team, focuses on clients, and can make sound judgments independently.
  • Work Setting: Our projects are diverse, encompassing residential and commercial sectors, with a focus on new constructions, renovations, and additions.
  • Transportation: Willingness to travel is required. Owning transportation is a plus; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Job Type & Schedule:

  • Full-Time Position.
  • Regular 8-hour shifts.

Supplemental Pay Types:

  • Overtime pay.


  • Carpentry/Foreman: 5 years (preferred).

Work Location:

  • On-site.
